Fat Loss Is NEVER Linear.

WEIGHT LOSS LOOKS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE!

Starting a fat loss journey can be both exciting and challenging. One important thing to understand is that weight loss is never perfectly linear. It's completely normal for your weight to fluctuate along the way. There will be days or even weeks where your weight might increase or stay the same.

AND THAT’S OKAY! What truly matters is the LONG TERM pattern.

As long as the overall trend is going down, you're on the right track.

Take a look at my client’s journey. She has lost 20kg. Here’s her weight graph:

As you can see, there are times when the weight spikes up. But the important part is that overall, we’re moving DOWN ⬇️

Weight fluctuation is normal. Here are three common reasons:

1. Water Retention

  • Salt: High sodium intake causes water retention.

  • Hormones: Hormonal changes, especially during menstruation, can lead to water retention.

  • Carbs: Eating more carbs can make your body hold onto water.

2. Food and Drink

  • Large Meals: Big meals can temporarily increase weight.

  • Hydration: Drinking a lot of fluids can temporarily add weight.

  • Bowel Movements: Different bowel movements than usual can affect weight.

3. Exercise

  • Muscle Gain: Strength training can increase muscle mass, affecting weight.

  • Inflammation: Intense workouts can cause temporary inflammation and water retention.

Understanding these factors can help you stay calm and focused on your long-term goals rather than getting discouraged by short-term changes.

My client did it - so can you.

Stop giving up every time the scale goes up. Don’t let the weight spikes scare you.

I’m looking for women who are sick of hating the way they look and want to get lean before Summer. If this sounds like you, book a free discovery call to learn more.
